A new DesktopNerds website has finally launched

After many years of being absent from DesktopNerds, it felt like it was time to blow some life back into it. Gamma Control which is still what people refer to the most, when mentioning DesktopNerds is downloadable here on the site still, however the focus has changed.

The focus of DesktopNerds is now what it set out to be 20 years ago, a blog page/forum for knowledge sharing, troubleshooting, guides and the likes.

But Gamma Control?

As I can see around the interwebs, people are still interested in Gamma Control and I although I was sad to let it go, I would be even more sad to make empty promises, though I will share that I have a wish for making Gamma Control 5 available for free - Or make a new, improved version. I have not forgotten why I had to stop, AV companies flagged it false-positive a few times too many, and it was an endless battle to unflag it. In addition, Mr. Windows made life harder, and Gamma Control suddenly needed a bigger overhaul than I had the time for. Hopefully times will, and have, changed.
